Receiptify is a private, invite-only app run by Desired Studios for family and friends. This page explains what it stores and why.

What we store

Your name, email, phone and mailing address (shown on your reports), the receipts and bills you upload or email in, the details read from them, and the reports you create. If you link a bank, we store account names, the last four digits, balances and transactions provided by Stripe Financial Connections. We never see or store your bank username or password.

How it's used

To read receipts, sort transactions into categories, match receipts to bank charges, build reports and answer Budget Buddy questions. Receipts and questions are sent to our AI providers (Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini if you choose it) only to produce those results. Emails are sent through SMTP2GO. Inbound receipt emails pass through Cloudflare.

Sharing

Your workspace is private. Only people you invite can see it, with the access level you pick, and you can remove them at any time. Reports go only to the addresses you choose. We don't sell or share your data for advertising.

Location and notifications

Location is used once to help fill in your address and time zone. Notifications tell you when receipts are read and reports are ready.

Deleting your data

You can delete receipts, reports and bank connections in the app. To delete your whole account, contact the person who invited you.
